Founder

An electrical engineer by education has previously been part of and led teams to electrify remote villages in Ladakh, Meghalaya and Nagaland. He has previously worked with an Ultra-capacitor-based energy storage start-up and comes with technical knowledge and experience with regard to energy access. He is passionate about renewable energy and sustainable livelihood interventions for remote communities.

Neil M Kamat

Co-Founder

A Mechanical Engineer by profession, Neil has previously worked in an Engineering MNC for 5 years before helping a solar Rooftop PV startup get off the ground. He started his journey in the social workspace through SBI foundation’s Rural Development Fellowship and has never looked back. He is eco-conscious, practises the 3R’s religiously, and has taken part in numerous clean-up and afforestation drives in his home city of Bangalore.

Anita Sohtun

Partnership & Team Building

A social sector professional with mixed work experience in banking, customer relations and the social sector. Has previously worked with survivors of caste atrocities, women in sex work, children of prisoners to name a few in both urban and rural settings. Is passionate about gender equality and inclusion. During her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music and trekking.

Bhargava KC

Incubation & Design

An Engineering graduate and a Development Leader, experienced in Design Thinking, Social Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Product Design and Development. He believes in rapid prototyping of solutions to bring sustainable solutions for systemic change.

Fidei Biakmawii Nongrum

Incubation & Entrepreneurship Development

A professional social worker with a strong commitment to development and contributing towards the betterment of the society holistically.

Fidei has been actively involved in the prevention of violence against women and promotion of women's rights as well as many developmental projects in Meghalaya. Her philosophical belief is 'Everything happens for a reason'.

Parij Borgohain

A communication professional

who is deeply committed to rural development and enjoys documenting stories from the country's remotest corners. An alumnus of the SBI Youth for India Fellowship Program, Parij has worked with some of well know organizations managing projects and programs before joining our team. Besides photography, he is a passionate traveller.
