An electrical engineer by education has previously been part of and led teams to electrify remote villages in Ladakh, Meghalaya and Nagaland. He has previously worked with an Ultra-capacitor-based energy storage start-up and comes with technical knowledge and experience with regard to energy access. He is passionate about renewable energy and sustainable livelihood interventions for remote communities.
Neil M Kamat
Co-Founder
A Mechanical Engineer by profession, Neil has previously worked in an Engineering MNC for 5 years before helping a solar Rooftop PV startup get off the ground. He started his journey in the social workspace through SBI foundation’s Rural Development Fellowship and has never looked back. He is eco-conscious, practises the 3R’s religiously, and has taken part in numerous clean-up and afforestation drives in his home city of Bangalore.
Anita Sohtun
Partnership & Team Building
A social sector professional with mixed work experience in banking, customer relations and the social sector. Has previously worked with survivors of caste atrocities, women in sex work, children of prisoners to name a few in both urban and rural settings. Is passionate about gender equality and inclusion. During her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music and trekking.

A professional social worker with a strong commitment to development and contributing towards the betterment of the society holistically.
Fidei has been actively involved in the prevention of violence against women and promotion of women's rights as well as many developmental projects in Meghalaya. Her philosophical belief is 'Everything happens for a reason'.

Founder
Nagakarthik MP is the founder of Sauramandala Foundation an organization that works to improve the development indicators of remote, vulnerable, and disconnected communities. An engineer by education, he has spent the last 8 years working across the Indian Himalayan region and the North Eastern states to design large-scale programs across health, education, climate, and entrepreneurship. While not working, he can mostly be found on a motorcycle in some corner of the country.

Alem is an architect, passionate about green and contextual design. She graduated from the School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal, and has experience in the institute, hospitality, and residential fields. As the PSREF architect, she works with the rural entrepreneurs, networking and analyzing their needs to design workspaces (industrial design) for them and additionally designing retail and café spaces for market linkage and expansion.

Liankhanlun Guite from Manipur and currently resides in Shillong. Recently, I joined PRIME Rural (PSREF) Shillong as an MTA. Prior to this, he was associated with the Directorate of Census Operations, Meghalaya, Shillong, for more than three years as a junior consultant in the Administration Section. He has completed his higher secondary education at Rockvale Academy, Kalimpong, and graduated from Zakir Husain College, New Delhi.
