Sauramandala Foundation is an NGO founded in 2018 with a vision to bring about systemic change in the lives of remote communities through empathetic, collaborative, and contextual solutions that are co-created with the communities themselves.


About CM Youth Center:

The Government of Meghalaya,in partnership with Sauramandala Foundation (www.sauramandala.org) and Project DEFY (www.projectdefy.org), has established 22 rural SDL (Self-Design Learning) centres for youth, called the Chief Minister's Youth Center with an aim to build resilience, sustainability, and problem-solving skills in the next generation of the community. The youth centres

are established to bridge the digital divide with the help of innovation and entrepreneurship skills by providing access to the Internet along with open learning opportunities. The components of the centres are a Nook (SDL space), a Library, Arts and a Sports program. The learning is open to all ages to have more involvement from the community.


ABOUT THE ROLE

The Recruitment Associate will assist the Recruitment Manager in managing recruitment processes. This role involves coordinating candidate interviews, assisting with onboarding processes, maintaining recruitment databases and ensuring smooth recruitment operations. The Associate will also provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.


WHAT WILL YOU DO AS THE RECRUITMENT ASSOCIATE?


Supporting a Positive Work Environment

  • Assist in implementing practices that support a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace.

  • Help coordinate staff recognition efforts and team engagement activities.

  • Support efforts to gather employee feedback and share insights with the HR team for cultural improvements.

Recruitment & Onboarding Support

  • Assist with posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and preparing interview documentation.

  • Coordinate reference checks and support onboarding logistics for new hires.

  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment and onboarding processes.

Employee Relations Assistance

  • Support the HR Team in handling employee concerns and maintaining clear documentation.

  • Help coordinate and document discussions related to workplace issues or grievances.

  • Promote open communication by helping to manage feedback tools and suggestion channels.

Performance Management Support

  • Assist in coordinating the performance appraisal cycle, including scheduling and document preparation.

  • Help track the completion of employee KRAs and appraisals.

  • Provide administrative support for performance discussions and performance improvement processes.

Training & Development Coordination

  • Support the planning and logistics of training sessions (e.g., booking venues, managing attendance, sharing materials).

  • Collect participant feedback and compile summaries for review.

  • Assist in the development of basic training content related to values, inclusion, and workplace conduct.

HR Administration

  • Prepare and maintain HR documents such as offer letters, contracts, and confirmation letters.

  • Keep employee records up to date, including attendance, leave, and personnel files.

  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits, leave tracking, and policy communication.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in recruitment or HR support roles.

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related fields.

  • Strong organizational, communication and administrative skills.

  • Experience in recruitment processes, interview scheduling and candidate coordination.
