About Sauramandala Foundation - CFAD
Sauramandala Foundation is an NGO founded in 2018 with a vision to bring about systemic change in the lives of remote communities through empathetic, collaborative, and contextual solutions that are co-created with the communities themselves.
The Centre for Accelerated Development (CFAD) by Sauramandala Foundation is a public policy framework that addresses the challenges remote and inaccessible communities face by accelerating social and economic change through collaborative action, working with the government to scale up programs to increase impact.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop Fundraising Strategies:
Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support the foundation's programs and initiatives.
Identify and prioritise potential funding sources, including individual donors, foundations, corporations, and government grants.
2. Donor Cultivation and Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors, including individual philanthropists, corporate partners, and institutional funders.
Communicate the foundation's mission, goals, and impact effectively to donors and stakeholders.
Steward relationships with donors to ensure ongoing engagement and support.
3. Grant Writing and Proposal Development:
Lead the development of grant proposals, funding applications, and donor reports.
Research funding opportunities and prepare compelling proposals tailored to the interests and priorities of potential donors.
Ensure timely submission of grant applications and compliance with donor requirements.
4. Fundraising Events and Campaigns:
Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives to engage donors and raise funds.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to organise successful fundraising activities.
Evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising events and campaigns and make recommendations for improvement.
5. Budgeting and Financial Management:
Work closely with the finance team to develop and manage fundraising budgets.
Monitor fundraising revenue and expenses, track progress towards fundraising goals, and provide regular reports to senior management.
6. Networking and Partnerships:
Represent the foundation at networking events, conferences, and community gatherings to build relationships and expand the donor base.
Identify potential strategic partnerships and collaboration opportunities to enhance fundraising efforts and amplify impact.
Eligibility:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field (such as nonprofit management, business administration, communications, or related field).
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in fundraising, development, or related roles, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
Proven track record of successful fundraising, including experience with individual giving, grant writing, and donor relations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including donors, board members, staff, and volunteers.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute fundraising strategies aligned with organisational goals.
