About the Role
Sauramandala Foundation is a non-profit established in 2018 with a focus on improving economic and social indicators in remote, vulnerable and disconnected communities through collaborative action.
Sauramandala Foundation’s Centre For Accelerated Development (CFAD) helps accelerate social and economic change to build the resilience of remote, vulnerable and disconnected communities through collaborative action. Our activities on the ground and our involvement with external and internal stakeholders follow the same approach. Our interventions follow an accelerator approach rather than that being an implementor.
Our work involves a simple 3-stage process:
Gain insights and build social capital > Aggregate NGO partners for collaborative action > Co-design and facilitate implementation of projects
We work in partnership with the government at the block, district and secretariat level to identify, co-design, aggregate partners and demonstrate solutions at various stages to the system. We aspire to build and design on the extreme end of the spectrum where the resources are scarce and work with the government to scale up programs to increase impact.
