About the Role

About the position:


As the Lead- Partnership and Networking, you will play a crucial role in advancing the mission of Sauramandala Foundation - Centre of Accelerated Development by establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships and networks. You will be responsible for fostering collaborations with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profit organisations, businesses, academic institutions, and local communities. You should be highly skilled communicators, negotiators, and project managers with a deep understanding of the organisation's sector and objectives and passionate about driving social and economic change in remote and inaccessible communities through collaborative action.


Key Responsibilities


1. Partnership Development:

  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with relevant organisations and stakeholders to support the foundation's objectives

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

2. Networking:

  • Represent the foundation at networking events, conferences, and meetings to promote its mission and activities.

  • Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership development through networking efforts.

3. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with government agencies, NGOs, businesses, and community leaders to understand their needs and priorities.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop joint initiatives and projects that address the social and economic challenges faced by remote communities.

3. Proposal Development:

  • Work closely with the program team to develop proposals for funding opportunities, grants, and partnerships.

  • Ensure that proposals align with the foundation's goals and objectives, and effectively communicate its value proposition to potential partners and funders.

4. Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track and monitor partnership activities and outcomes, ensuring that objectives are met and commitments are fulfilled.

  • Prepare regular reports on partnership progress, impact, and key performance indicators for internal and external stakeholders.

5. Capacity Building:

  • Provide guidance and support to staff members and partners on partnership development strategies and best practices.

  • Organise capacity-building workshops and training sessions to enhance the partnership-building skills of team members and partners.

6. Collaborative Projects Management:

  • Facilitate the coordination and implementation of collaborative projects and initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Ensure that project activities are carried out effectively and in accordance with agreed-upon timelines and budgets.

Eligibility:


  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in a relevant field (such as international development, business administration, or social sciences).

  • Proven experience in partnership development, networking, and relationship management in the development sector or a related field.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and multicultural teams.

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of social and economic development issues, particularly in the Northeast India region, is desirable.
